Sixteen North East oil and gas technology businesses headed for Bergen in mid-October to showcase their skills and expertise at "UK-Norway AGR Technology Days", the largest Norwegian energy-related conference and exhibition this year.
The conference and exhibition was staged as part of the week-long 'Britain in Bergen' programme and is organised by the AGR Ability Group and UK Trade and Investment.
The companies exhibited for two days on a joint Scottish Development International/British Embassy stand, and around 10 of the delegates also made formal presentations as part of the conference programme.
The companies were part of a Scottish Development International/Scottish Enterprise oil and gas trade mission, which also included a visit to Norway's largest supply base, the Coast Centre Base, to meet key operators and contractors.
Claire Rannou, International Business Development Executive at Scottish Enterprise Grampian, said: "It is highly encouraging that so many of our technology-focused oil and gas firms are taking part in this significant event.
"It represents one of the prime opportunities this year for them to showcase their capabilities and experience to the Norwegian market.
"Norway is Grampian's largest oil and gas export market so it is particularly gratifying that we have such a large contingent from the region taking part."
